From Japan to Sharjah “Rubu’ Qarn” Launches the 1st Edition of “Kumon” Mathematics Program

In cooperation with “Kumon Institute of Education Co. Etd. – Japan”, Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators prepares to launch an exceptional program in mathematics on October 2023, which will continue until March 2024, as part of its objectives to boost the capabilities of future generations in the field of science and mathematics.
The program targets children and youth from the ages of 9-14 years old, where the participants will learn the basics of counting, number operations, algebra using the “Kumon” self-learning method and complete multiple levels in an environment that stimulates creativity and problem-solving. The program will be executed by trained instructors in order to equip the participants with the necessary skills to develop their ability in solving mathematical problems and finding creative solutions. In addition, they will be going through an impactful journey that will encourage them to be independent learners, which will also result in a positive change in their study habits and their self-confidence.

It is worth mentioning that Rubu’ Qarn which was established in September 2016, under the direction of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Chairperson of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, is the first Emirati, Arabian and Regional foundation that aims to build an Emirati generation capable of mindfully leading and influencing the future in alignment with their cultural identity.
Rubu’ Qarn is the umbrella for four entities: Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah for Capability Development “Tatweer”.
